Mr. Sachs is an original investor in the Company, and became its chairman in 2007. For more than 40 years, Fred has led the creation and development of several privately held firms furnishing building and construction materials to the Mid-Atlantic region with combined annual sales approaching $100,000,000.

As a Community Trustee, Fred has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare.  He has held various leadership and governance positions with the Alexandria Health Care Enterprises Group (Alexandria, VA), and as a member of the Board of Directors of Inova (a regional health system in Virginia).  Currently, he is a Trustee Emeritus of Inova Health Systems, and of The Alexandria Hospital Foundation.

He received a Bachelor of Science Degree, cum laude, from Syracuse University; has worked in public accounting; international trade; and, as a graduate teaching assistant in law and public policy.  Fred received his MBA from Columbia University, School of Business.
